Students in Dunn lab.
Computing Services offers the Student Classroom Technical Assistant (SCTA) program during the academic term. This program is intended to assist faculty with the use of technology in teaching. An SCTA is a student that is recruited from a class to help with technical issues in that class. Computing Services will train and pay them.

The pay for this position is $100 per term and is based on the fact that they are expected to attend each class and should only be required for a few minutes each class.

SCTA responsibilities may include picking up equipment at Computing Services and returning it after class when required, setting up equipment before the class, ensuring that presenters get logged in, ensuring presentations and other applications are running properly, and for troubleshooting problems that may arise.
